Water Softener is a process of removing Calcium and Magnesium ions from water. Calcium and Magnesium are the hardness-forming components of water. When hard water is passed through the resin in the Sodium form, Ca and Mg ions are exchanged for equivalent Na ions. The water which now contains only Sodium ions is called soft water. The soft water is then used as feed water to low and medium pressure boiler, RO systems, and also for Laundries and other applications.

DUPLEX water softener system

for Continuous operation is designed for using continuously 24 hours a day. This water softener system also consists of two main units; resin columns and brine tanks. But here more resin columns are necessary to ensure the continuous supply of soft water, while the rest (brine tank holds the sale) which required for regenerating the ion exchange resin.

Material of construction MS/FRP/MSRL/SS.

Designed as per ASME.

Well designed distribution system.

Well designed collection system.

High end water quality.

Suited regeneration time for various application.

High replacement of calcium and magnesium.

The Principle of the water softener:

The ion-exchange water softeners using an ion exchange resin organic compound technology which dissolved calcium and magnesium ions in the water and replaced by sodium ions. With this technology, the solution is maintained and water cannot precipitate hardness minerals under any circumstances.
